The 10-10 Challenge

Taking even a few minutes away from screens to look around can make a big difference. Spending time outdoors, or simply looking out a window, helps you slow down. It helps you clear your mind and reconnect with yourself and your surroundings.

This activity invites you to take a daily break from devices to reflect on your relationship to nature.

What you’ll do:

  • Challenge yourself! Spend 10 minutes a day for 10 days connecting with nature, without using any devices.
  • This could mean spending time outside or looking outside.
  • Reflect on your surroundings and what you learn about your connection to the environment.

Tips:

  • You can do this challenge on your own, with friends, family, or rally your class to try it as well.
  • Track your progress in the challenge using a calendar or checklist.
  • At the end of the 10 days, celebrate your success and share what you noticed.
