Stress is normal and sometimes even helpful. It can motivate us, help us grow, and push us to do our best. But too much stress, especially when it lasts a long time, can be overwhelming and make it hard to focus, sleep, or enjoy time with others.

This activity helps you recognize what situations cause you stress and reflect on the different ways to manage it that work for you.

Tips:

  • Be honest. There are no right or wrong answers.
  • Remember that everyone experiences stress differently.
  • You can do this on your own or in a small group.

What you’ll do:

  • Think about how stress can show up in your body, emotions, and actions. Then, write down strategies and people you can talk to if your stress feels too big or doesn’t go away.
