Your nervous system is your body’s command centre. It sends messages between your brain and the rest of your body to help you move, learn and feel emotions.
This activity helps you explore how your nervous system works. You’ll also learn how it connects to everything you do, from learning and playing to managing your emotions and making decisions.
What you’ll do:
- Get creative while learning about your body’s command centre.
- Make your own artistic version of your nervous system.
Tips:
- If you can’t lie on the floor or don’t have paper that large, draw a picture of your body.
- If outside, use sidewalk chalk to trace your body.
- Find a simple image of the nervous system online.
