Happiness team

Your brain has its own ‘feel-good factory.’ Every time you do things you enjoy, your brain releases special chemicals. These are called neurotransmitters and hormones. They help you feel good. Think of them as your body’s built-in happiness team!

This activity helps you learn about your body’s “happiness team.” You’ll also explore fun, meaningful ways to activate it.

Tips:

  • Experiment with different activities to see what makes you feel good.
  • You can do this alone, with friends, or in a group.
  • Pay attention to any changes in your body and mood.
  • Try this as a follow up to Stress-o-meter activity!

What you’ll do:

  • Reflect on activities that make you feel happy. Then, create a weekly plan of activities to boost your mood.
